Suhr Classic Antique HSS – Sonic blue
As I´m becoming older … yes nothing I could do against that 😉 … I notice that my taste and musical focus is changing. While I was practicing Dream Theater riffing yesterday and love fast economy picking speed runs I more and more fell in love with a less technical but very expressive playing style. I saw Tim & Pete´s guitar show on youtube.com a while ago and they had Mateo Asato as their guest and he reported the same thing. (A must watch by the way: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7pWfxBo2cMQ)

Therefore I tried a lot of Strats and have to admit that it´s simply not my guitar. As I said I tried a lot and one day I hold this Suhr in my hands and it felt like home and has exactly the portion of twang I was looking for. I bought it without hesitating.
