Hughes & Kettner Triamp MK II

This is by far most versatile amp I´ve ever played. 6 channels with 6 classic but also characteristic Hughes & Kettner sounds. I´m aware that amp sounds are always a question of personal preferences. For some a EVH 5150 in the mix with a Dual Rectifier is the perfect combo for an ultimate metal sound for others … you know where I´m going.

So at the end all I want to say is that each sound of this amp is pure fun and this machine is worth a try. Wherever you have the chance to Tri this Amp please take it. May you are more surprised then you can imagine. In the end it simply looks cool. Always a good feeling to have this rock solid amp behind you on stage.

Update:
I bought another great product from Hugh & Kettner – the Grandmeister 36. It is a tiny little amp that I found on my search for a compact setup for smaler clubs or spontaneous sessions. It has all sounds on board that I need even for a cover set from 1960s to 2010 and it has perfect dimensions. I also use this amp for recording my ideas because the H&K redbox build in this versatile amp makes it a perfect tool for recording – and I don´t need to use digital amp modelling anybody except me seems to love theses days. Don´t get me wrong I also use an Axe here and there and what Positive Grid is doing is simply amazing but if I have the choice…
Take care, stenson
