I wanted to play electric guitar because of to players who I was able to see live: Eddie Van Halen and Slash. Do I have to say more? 😉 My first guitar was a green no-name Les Paul copy that I played through my early years. I always dreamed of the real deal and here it is.

I tried Gibson Les Paul guitars a couple of years, now. And finally, everything is perfect with this 2015 model.A lot of people reporting having trouble with the wider neck dimensions – I love it. I found videos on YouTube showing the automated G-Force tuning system performing horrible – it´s great and does the job with the same accuracy as my T.C. tuner. I was really surprised how many people found it hard to accept innovation on the Les Paul model.

Gibson reacted and for 2016 they have two lines available: the old fashion/ classic line and a performer line with all the technical updates. And that is exactly what it is a guitar for the working/ performing guitar player. This kind of Les Pauls are such flexible Instruments. I promise (!) … if you close your eyes while playing through all the pickup combinations (attention: push-pull potis for coil split function) you will find new sounds and some that you typically would connect with the F***** brand.
